This special Diablo was a fitting tribute to Lamborghini's 30th anniversary

Lamborghini is now 54 years old. In 1993, it had just been shot. In order to celebrate the milestone, he developed a special version of the Diablo and offered 150 of them – the first of which was this example (soon to cross the auction block).

The SE30 grabbed the same 5.7-liter V12 as any other version of the Diablo (until the 6.0-liter version was released in "99) but expanded to 523 hp instead of the original bearing 485.

It also has the VT"s all-wheel drive and – long before the arrival of double couplings or other new-born transmissions – with an old-school five-speed manual transmission. The Diablo SE30 was characterized by some aerodynamic improvements (including air flap covers) and the necessary special badge.

This example was the first of the 150 built, painted in the signature of the model of the model to make it also lifts out among Lambos. It was delivered with optional extras packaged to its first owner in Milan, who drove it extensively. It was then sold to another Italian enthusiast before he made his way to his current owner in England two years ago.

Meanwhile, this anniversary edition Raging Bull has attacked nearly 22,000 miles and will hopefully be even more in the hands of his fourth owner – whoever can find that after the hammer in Villa Erba in Italy a little more than a month Fell As for the rest of us, we can sit back and admire the pictures in the gallery below, captured by Simone Caldirola for RM Sotheby"s.
