While some may have modified their vehicles with bold new bodywork, large spoilers and custom wheels, others prefer a car standard look, but tweak its built-in. The Yenko Camaro SC offers the best of both worlds.
At the end of January, the Yenko Camaro was presented on a Camaro SS but was extensively extended by the special vehicle technology (SVE), which was approved for the use of the Yenko name.
While a typical SS is based on a naturally tuned V8 engine, Yenko"s custom-made design includes the installation of a compressor, aluminum pistons, CNC-ported and polished cylinder heads, a forged steel crankshaft and LT4 fuel injectors. This results in 800 hp and 750 lb-ft of torque, making the Yenko 345 hp stronger than a standard Camaro SS and giving it a 93 hp edge over a Challenger SRT Hellcat.
A few days ago, Subaruwrxfan on YouTube had the chance to be jumped behind the wheel of a black Yenko and is understandably perplexed, how incredibly fast it is. If you only use a bit too much throttle, the rear wheels begin to turn, as there is no tomorrow, certainly for an interesting driving experience.
